Ibis London Barking is looking for an enthusiastic person to join our team at the hotel. This position is for a Day and Night Reception Team Member who will work in our fabulous team, incorporating both Front Office and Food and Beverage duties in line with the business demands and with great opportunities for growth within the company.
Ibis London Barking is home to 86 inviting guest bedrooms, each with an en‑suite power shower, 43" flat‑screen TV and tea & coffee facilities. The hotel offers a value‑pack hot and cold breakfast spread each morning, setting you up for even the busiest of days.

Overview of Duties / Mission
- Show the ability to multitask and maintain a proactive personality in a busy, hands‑on role
- Welcome guests as soon as they arrive with care and attention, using a personalised approach
- Provide guests with a single point of contact throughout their stay
- Be ready to assist at any stage of the guests’ stay, from welcome to farewell
- Handle and resolve any guest feedback in the most efficient and satisfying manner
- Promote the company’s ALL loyalty programme
- Prepare all required documents for the day
Required Skills and Experience for Day and Night Reception Team Member
- Good interpersonal skills, guest‑oriented and service‑mindful
- Flexible with working hours is essential
- Positive with a can‑do attitude
- Good presentation and confident speaking skills
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
