Key Responsibilities

• Carry out planned mechanical maintenance on production plant and equipment.
• Deliver reactive and corrective maintenance, minimising downtime and production losses.
• Improve and modify machinery to maximise availability, reliability, and performance.
• Diagnose mechanical faults and advise site management on effective solutions.
• Support engineering projects, installations, and refurbishments.
• Complete dynamic risk assessments and maintain safe systems of work.
• Manage spare parts awareness and maintain accurate maintenance documentation.
• Update and administer the CMMS.
• Contribute to root‑cause analysis and continuous improvement activities.
• Provide maintenance updates during daily production and operational review meetings.

About You

• Proven experience as a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer.
• Background working in production, manufacturing, or processing environments; ideally in the waste & recycling sector.
• Strong fault‑finding and problem‑solving skills.
• Proactive approach to safety, reliability, and continuous improvement.
