About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy decentralized applications (dApps) on various blockchain platforms.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented smart contracts to support dApp functionality.
• Integrate dApps with blockchain networks, wallets, and other decentralized services.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers to create intuitive and engaging user interfaces for dApps.
• Optimize dApp performance, scalability, and user experience.
• Stay current with emerging trends and technologies in the dApp development landscape.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in software development, with at least 2 years focused on dApp development .
• Proficiency in languages such as JavaScript/TypeScript and experience with frameworks like React or Vue.js.
• Solid understanding of blockchain concepts, smart contracts, and decentralized architectures.
• Experience interacting with blockchain networks (e.g., Ethereum, Polygon) using libraries like ethers.js or web3.js.
• Familiarity with IPFS, decentralized storage, and other Web3 technologies.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, essential for a fully remote role serving the Glasgow and broader Crypto & Blockchain community.
