About the Role

Our client is looking for a creative and technically adept Decentralized Applications (dApp) Developer to join their innovative team in Glasgow . You will be instrumental in building user-friendly, high-performance dApps that leverage blockchain technology to deliver novel solutions. This role involves working with smart contracts, front-end interfaces, and backend infrastructure to create seamless decentralized experiences. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and deploy robust decentralized applications (dApps) on various blockchain networks.
• Write, test, and deploy secure and efficient smart contracts using languages like Solidity.
• Integrate dApps with blockchain infrastructure, including wallets and decentralized oracles.
• Develop user-friendly front-end interfaces for dApps, ensuring a seamless user experience.
• Collaborate with designers and product managers to translate concepts into functional dApps.
• Optimize dApp performance and scalability, addressing potential bottlenecks.

Requirements

• 2+ years of professional experience in software development, with at least 1 year focused on dApp development .
• Proficiency in smart contract development (e.g., Solidity) and blockchain interaction libraries (e.g., Web3.js, Ethers.js).
• Experience with front-end development frameworks (e.g., React, Vue.js) for dApp interfaces.
• Understanding of blockchain principles, cryptographic concepts , and consensus mechanisms.
• Familiarity with decentralized storage solutions (e.g., IPFS) and other Web3 technologies.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
