About the Role

Our client is looking for a passionate Decentralized Finance (DeFi) Developer to join their dedicated team in Edinburgh . This role involves building and maintaining cutting-edge DeFi protocols, smart contracts, and applications that operate on various blockchain networks. You will contribute to creating innovative financial instruments and services that leverage the power of decentralization. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement secure, efficient, and scalable DeFi protocols and smart contracts.
• Integrate with existing blockchain networks and third-party DeFi services.
• Write clean, well-documented, and thoroughly tested code, with a focus on security and performance.
• Participate in code reviews, contributing to a high standard of development quality.
• Collaborate with product managers and other developers to define and build new DeFi features.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and innovations in the DeFi space.

Requirements

• Proven experience developing DeFi applications and smart contracts (e.g., Solidity, Compound, Aave).
• Strong understanding of core DeFi concepts, including liquidity pools, staking, yield farming, and AMMs.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Solidity, JavaScript, or Python.
• Experience with blockchain frameworks and tools (e.g., Hardhat, Truffle).
• Knowledge of security best practices for smart contract development.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in an office setting in Edinburgh .
