DeFi Product Manager

About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced and forward-thinking DeFi Product Manager to drive the strategy and execution of their decentralized finance products from their offices in Southampton . You will be responsible for defining the product vision, roadmap, and feature set for our next generation of DeFi offerings, working closely with engineering, marketing, and business development teams. This role requires a deep understanding of the DeFi ecosystem, a passion for innovation, and the ability to translate complex technical concepts into user-centric products that capture market share. You will play a key role in shaping the future of decentralized finance.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and own the product roadmap for DeFi products, aligning with company strategy and market opportunities.
• Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify user needs and emerging trends in the DeFi space.
• Write detailed product requirements, user stories, and specifications for engineering teams.
• Prioritize features and manage the product backlog to ensure timely delivery of high-quality products.
• Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to develop go-to-market strategies and product positioning.
• Analyze product performance, gather user feedback, and iterate on products to drive adoption and engagement.

Requirements

• Proven track record (3+ years) as a Product Manager, with significant experience in the Decentralized Finance (DeFi) sector.
• Deep understanding of DeFi protocols, including but not limited to DEXs, lending protocols, stablecoins, and yield farming.
• Familiarity with blockchain technology and smart contracts.
• Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities, with experience working cross-functionally.
• Experience with agile development methodologies and product management tools.
