Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement core DeFi protocols and smart contracts.
• Analyze and optimize existing protocols for performance, security, and gas efficiency.
• Conduct thorough security audits and risk assessments of DeFi protocols.
• Collaborate with quantitative researchers and product teams to bring new financial products to life.
• Monitor protocol performance and respond to any emergent issues or vulnerabilities.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in software engineering, with a strong focus on DeFi and smart contract development .
• Proficiency in Solidity and a deep understanding of financial primitives and tokenomics.
• Experience with various DeFi protocols (e.g., lending, trading, yield farming).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
• Ability to work effectively within a hybrid model in our Edinburgh office, balancing collaboration and independent work.
