Driver's Assistant – Furniture Delivery Location: High Wycombe Job Type: Temporary to Permanent Working Hours: 7:00am – 5:00pm, 5 days per week Hourly Rate: £13.09

About the RoleWe are looking for a reliable and hardworking Driver's Assistant to join our clients furniture delivery team in High Wycombe. This is a temp-to-perm opportunity.

You will work alongside the delivery driver to safely and efficiently deliver furniture to customers' homes and businesses.

Key Responsibilities

Assisting the driver with the loading and unloading of furniture.

Delivering furniture to customers safely and on time.

Carrying and manoeuvring furniture into customers' properties.

Assisting with positioning furniture where required.

Ensuring furniture is handled carefully to prevent damage.

Providing friendly and professional customer service.

Helping with vehicle loading and ensuring items are secure for transportation.

Following delivery schedules and instructions from the driver/management.

Maintaining a clean and tidy delivery vehicle.

Working as part of a team to ensure deliveries are completed efficiently.

About YouThe ideal candidate will be:

Physically fit and comfortable lifting and carrying furniture.

Reliable, punctual and hardworking.

Friendly and professional when dealing with customers.

A good team player with a positive attitude.

Able to follow instructions and work efficiently.

Previous furniture delivery, removals or warehouse experience is desirable but not essential
