About the Role

Our client requires a dependable Delivery Driver (Class B) to join their logistics team in Brighton . This role involves the daily delivery of goods to customers within the city and surrounding areas, ensuring accuracy and efficiency. You will be responsible for operating a company van, handling packages with care, and providing excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will be punctual, physically capable of handling deliveries, and possess a good understanding of the local area, contributing to the seamless distribution operations in East Sussex for our client.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver goods to customers’ premises in a timely and efficient manner.
• Load and unload parcels safely and securely into the delivery vehicle.
• Follow designated delivery routes and schedules using navigation tools.
• Obtain proof of delivery and accurately record delivery details.
• Maintain the cleanliness and basic maintenance checks of the assigned vehicle.
• Represent the company in a professional and courteous manner to customers.

Requirements

• Valid UK driving licence (Category B).
• Previous experience in a similar delivery role.
• Good knowledge of the Brighton and surrounding areas.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Physically fit and capable of lifting packages.
• Good communication skills and customer-facing presence.
