About the Role

Our client is seeking a dedicated Delivery Driver to join their expanding courier service based in Coventry . This is a fast-paced role where you will be responsible for the efficient and secure transportation of parcels and goods to residential and commercial customers. You will be the face of the company on the front lines, ensuring customer satisfaction through timely and accurate deliveries. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in delivery driving, excellent navigational skills, and a commitment to maintaining high service standards in the West Midlands region.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and execute daily delivery routes to ensure maximum efficiency and timely arrivals.
• Safely operate a company delivery vehicle, adhering to all traffic laws and company policies.
• Load and unload packages carefully, ensuring the integrity of all items transported.
• Obtain proof of delivery from customers and handle any delivery discrepancies professionally.
• Maintain the cleanliness and basic maintenance of the assigned vehicle.
• Communicate effectively with the dispatch team regarding route status, any issues, or delays.

Requirements

• Valid UK driving license (Category B).
• Experience in a similar delivery driver or courier role.
• Good knowledge of the Coventry and surrounding areas.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Ability to handle physical tasks, including lifting and carrying packages.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
