About the Role

We are seeking a reliable Delivery Driver to join a dynamic logistics company based in Plymouth . This role focuses on the timely and safe delivery of parcels to customers across the Devon region. You will be the primary point of contact for customers on delivery, requiring excellent communication and a positive attitude. The position involves driving a company vehicle, managing a delivery route efficiently, and ensuring customer satisfaction with every drop. It's a crucial role in maintaining the company's service standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate a company delivery van to transport parcels.
• Plan and execute daily delivery routes within the Plymouth area.
• Load and unload packages, ensuring secure and careful handling.
• Provide polite and professional service to all customers.
• Utilize handheld devices for route management and proof of delivery.
• Report any delivery issues or vehicle problems promptly to the supervisor.

Requirements

• A full UK driving licence (Category B).
• Previous experience as a delivery driver is preferred.
• Familiarity with the Plymouth and surrounding delivery areas.
• Good communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Physically capable of lifting and carrying parcels.
