Our client is looking for a punctual and friendly Delivery Driver to join their local distribution team in Leeds . You will be responsible for ensuring the timely and safe delivery of products to our customers within the local area. This role requires excellent customer service skills, a positive attitude, and a commitment to representing the company in a professional manner. As a key member of our operations, you will contribute to customer satisfaction through reliable and efficient deliveries. The ideal candidate will have a clean driving record and a good knowledge of the Leeds area.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver goods to customers' homes or businesses according to assigned routes and schedules.
• Safely operate a company vehicle, ensuring it is kept clean and well-maintained.
• Obtain signatures and confirm delivery details accurately.
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues at the point of delivery professionally.
• Report any accidents, traffic violations, or vehicle maintenance needs promptly.
• Load and unload packages, ensuring they are handled with care.

Requirements

• Valid UK driving licence (Category B).
• Clean driving record with no major endorsements.
• Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role.
• Good knowledge of the Leeds metropolitan area and surrounding regions.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to lift and carry packages as required.
