Delivery Driver (Multi-Drop)

About the Role

Our client is seeking a dedicated Delivery Driver (Multi-Drop) to join their dynamic logistics team based in Birmingham . This role involves the efficient and safe delivery of various products to a wide range of customers throughout the West Midlands region. You will be the face of the company on the road, ensuring customer satisfaction with every delivery. We are looking for an individual who is reliable, organized, and takes pride in their work, contributing to the smooth operation of our distribution network. This is a physically demanding but rewarding role for someone who enjoys an active job and interacting with people across different businesses.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct multi-drop deliveries of goods in a punctual and professional manner using a company van.
• Verify delivery details and obtain customer signatures, ensuring all paperwork is completed accurately.
• Load and unload packages, ensuring safe handling and proper organization within the vehicle.
• Adhere strictly to driving regulations , speed limits, and safe parking practices.
• Report any vehicle issues, delivery problems, or customer concerns to the transport manager immediately.
• Maintain a clean and organized vehicle interior and exterior.

Requirements

• Valid UK driving license (Category B) with no more than 6 penalty points.
• Previous experience in a similar delivery driver role is advantageous.
• Good knowledge of the Birmingham and West Midlands road network.
• Ability to lift and carry packages, sometimes up to 25kg.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a polite, professional demeanor.
