Delivery Driver - Van

About the Role

Our client is looking for a dedicated and punctual Delivery Driver for their operation in Coventry . You will be responsible for delivering packages and goods to residential and commercial customers within a defined geographical area, ensuring customer satisfaction with every delivery. This role demands a strong sense of responsibility, excellent time management skills, and the ability to navigate efficiently. As a frontline representative of our company, your professionalism and positive attitude are crucial. You will be working closely with the dispatch team to ensure all deliveries are completed on schedule and that any customer queries are handled with courtesy and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Load, transport, and deliver items to clients or businesses in a safe, timely manner.
• Review orders before and after delivery to ensure that orders are complete, the charges are correct, and the customers are satisfied.
• Adhere to assigned routes and following time schedules.
• Abide by all transportation laws and maintain a safe driving record.
• Interact with clients professionally, providing updates and addressing any concerns.
• Maintain accurate logs of deliveries and expenses.

Requirements

• Valid UK driving license (Category B).
• Proven work experience as a Delivery Driver , preferably in the Coventry area.
• Good driving record with no major violations.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Ability to lift and carry packages of varying weights.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
