About the Role

Our client based in Coventry is looking for a dedicated and energetic Delivery Driver to join their expanding team. You will be responsible for the timely and safe delivery of products to customers throughout the West Midlands area. This role is essential for ensuring customer satisfaction and maintaining efficient logistical operations. The ideal candidate will be customer-focused, organised, and possess excellent navigation skills, becoming a key face of the company to its clientele.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate a company van for local deliveries and collections.
• Load and unload parcels and goods, ensuring careful handling.
• Follow optimized delivery routes to ensure punctuality and efficiency.
• Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, handling queries professionally.
• Maintain the delivery vehicle in a clean and presentable condition.
• Complete delivery notes and any required paperwork accurately.

Requirements

• Valid UK driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points.
• Previous experience in a delivery driving role is advantageous.
• Good knowledge of the Coventry and surrounding areas .
• Excellent time management and organisational skills.
• Ability to lift and carry packages of varying weights.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
