Delivery Driver

Role Overview

You are a Self‑Employed Core Delivery Driver delivering goods for Yodel across the UK. You enjoy freedom and flexibility, with competitive financial rewards and the support of Yodel’s team and regional representatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver and collect parcels up to 15kg, typically 16–25 per hour.
• Scan parcels at each drop‑off and pickup using a mobile device.
• Plan or optimise routes using Yodel’s app or on your own.
• Maintain accurate delivery records and customer confirmations.
• Work independently as a self‑employed contractor, available six days a week.

Compensation & Payment

• Competitive rates of £18–£20p per parcel.
• Daily or weekly payment options via Yodel’s Onsi app.
• Access to partner discounts (e.g., Naked Wines, Beer Hawk, Hello Fresh) and health and wellbeing programmes.

Requirements

• Insured car or van (up to 3.5t).
• Full UK or EC/EEA driving licence.
• Proof of right to work in the UK.
• Android or iOS smartphone.
• Own bank account.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.

Additional Support & Opportunities

Yodel provides a dedicated representative, training, and an optimisation app that helps plan routes and interact with customers. You receive regular work in the same area and can grow your delivery business with partner discounts and wellbeing programmes.
