We are looking for reliable and professional Delivery Drivers to join a specialist refrigerated transport operation based in Swadlincote.

As a Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for transporting temperature-sensitive goods using specialist vehicles, helping to ensure products are delivered safely and in suitable condition. The company provides temperature-controlled transport for sensitive items, including medications, vials and biological samples, delivering to hospitals, care homes and patients’ homes.

This is an important role where reliability, professionalism and attention to detail are essential. You will represent the company when making deliveries and will need to provide a high standard of customer service at each destination.

The role

Monday to Friday working pattern

45 hours per week, with a 60-minute break deducted (approx. (Apply online only))

Driving Category B vehicles up to 3.5 tonnes

Delivering temperature-sensitive goods to a range of destinations (approx. 20-40 per day)

Working with refrigerated and temperature-controlled transport

Maintaining a professional approach when dealing with customers and delivery locations

The ideal candidate will:

Be aged 21 or over

Hold a full Category B (3.5 tonne) driving licence

Have fewer than 6 points on their driving licence

Have previous delivery or professional driving experience

Be reliable, punctual and customer-focused

Be comfortable working independently and managing deliveries responsibly

Ideally live within approximately 30 minutes of the depot Rate of pay: £13.05 per hour
