Our client is looking for a motivated Delivery Operations Supervisor to join their team in Brighton . This role involves overseeing the planning, execution, and monitoring of daily delivery operations to ensure efficiency, punctuality, and customer satisfaction. You will lead a team of delivery drivers, manage fleet resources, and work collaboratively with other departments to optimise the supply chain. Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the delivery team, ensuring all routes are managed effectively.
• Monitor delivery performance metrics, identifying and addressing any deviations from schedule or standards.
• Conduct regular team meetings to discuss objectives, safety procedures, and performance feedback.
• Ensure the efficient utilisation of the delivery fleet, including scheduling maintenance and conducting checks.
• Liaise with customer service and sales teams to resolve delivery-related issues and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, driver hours, and fleet status using logistics software .

Requirements

• Proven experience in a supervisory role within the delivery or logistics sector.
