About the Role

Our client is looking for a dedicated Delivery Van Driver to join their expanding operations in Glasgow . This role involves the daily collection and delivery of parcels and goods to a diverse customer base across the city and surrounding areas. You will be responsible for ensuring timely deliveries, maintaining the condition of your vehicle, and providing a friendly, professional service to every customer. This is an ideal position for someone who enjoys an active role and has a good understanding of local geography.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect and deliver goods to customers’ premises as per the assigned schedule.
• Safely operate a company delivery van, adhering to all traffic laws and company policies.
• Load and unload parcels, ensuring items are handled with care and secured properly.
• Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain customer signatures.
• Report any issues with the vehicle, deliveries, or customer feedback to the supervisor.
• Contribute to maintaining the cleanliness and tidiness of the delivery vehicle.

Requirements

• Full, clean UK driving license (Category B).
• Previous experience driving a van for delivery purposes is preferred.
• Familiarity with the Glasgow area and surrounding routes.
• Good physical condition to handle lifting and carrying packages.
• Reliable and punctual with a strong sense of responsibility.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
