About the Role

Our client is looking for a reliable and diligent Delivery Van Driver to join their expanding distribution network based in Liverpool . This role is essential for ensuring the prompt and safe delivery of goods to our valued customers throughout the region. You will be responsible for operating a company van, planning efficient routes, loading and unloading packages, and providing a positive customer experience. The ideal candidate will be customer-service oriented, possess excellent knowledge of local roads, and demonstrate a strong commitment to punctuality and professionalism in all aspects of their work.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate a company delivery van in a safe and professional manner, adhering to all traffic laws.
• Plan daily delivery routes efficiently to ensure timely completion of scheduled deliveries in and around Liverpool .
• Load and unload parcels accurately and carefully, ensuring goods are delivered in perfect condition.
• Conduct daily checks on the vehicle, reporting any defects or maintenance requirements.
• Interact courteously with customers, resolving delivery issues where possible and ensuring satisfaction.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, collections, and any relevant paperwork.

Requirements

• Full and clean UK driving license, suitable for driving vans.
• Previous experience as a delivery driver is highly advantageous.
• Good geographical knowledge of Liverpool and surrounding areas.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to meet delivery schedules.
• Physical fitness to handle loading and unloading of goods.
• A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and commitment to reliability.
