About the Role

Our client is recruiting a dependable Delivery Van Driver to operate within the Bradford area. You will be responsible for the efficient collection and delivery of goods to a diverse range of customers, ensuring a high level of service. This role requires excellent punctuality, spatial awareness for loading/unloading, and the ability to navigate effectively throughout Bradford and its surrounding districts. The successful candidate will be an essential part of our local delivery network, contributing to customer satisfaction and operational success.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute daily delivery and collection routes within the Bradford area promptly and safely.
• Ensure all parcels and goods are handled with care and delivered to the correct destinations.
• Perform routine checks on the delivery van to ensure it is in good working order.
• Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain customer signatures upon completion.
• Provide polite and professional customer service at all times.
• Report any vehicle issues or delivery challenges to the logistics supervisor immediately.

Requirements

• Valid UK driving license (Category B).
• Previous experience in a similar delivery driver role.
• Good knowledge of Bradford and surrounding routes.
• Ability to manage time effectively and work independently.
• Physically capable of handling parcels of varying weights.
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
