Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality personal care and support, tailored to the specific needs of individuals living with dementia.
• Develop and implement individualised care plans, incorporating person-centred approaches and cognitive stimulation activities.
• Observe and monitor residents' well-being, responding sensitively to changes in mood, behaviour, and physical health.
• Communicate effectively and empathetically with residents, their families, and the care team, providing updates and support.
• Ensure a safe, calm, and stimulating environment that meets the unique needs of individuals with dementia.
• Maintain accurate and detailed care records, documenting all interventions and observations meticulously.

Requirements

• Previous experience working with individuals with dementia is essential.
• A strong understanding of dementia care principles, including communication strategies and behavioural support.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to show patience and empathy.
• Willingness to undertake specialised training in dementia care and related fields.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a dedicated care team and follow care protocols precisely.
• Must be eligible to work in the UK and pass an enhanced DBS check.
