Deputy Director of Midwifery – Quality, Governance & Safety

The Deputy Director of Midwifery at Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trusts will lead the maternity governance function, ensuring compliance with CQC registration and NHS obligations, and translate strategic priorities into safe, high‑quality care.

You will have operational accountability for the Maternity Governance Team, develop innovative practice, supervise staffing and performance, and work with the Director of Midwifery and Chief Nurse to align care with national standards.
