Position: Deputy Manager – Children’s
Location: Whalley Range, Greater Manchester
Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 per annum (Dependent on experience)
Hours: Full time
CareerMakers are recruiting for an experienced Children's Deputy Manager to assist & lead a small bedded children’s residential Care Home in the heart of Whalley Range, providing exceptional care and support for children with various needs.
The home is part of a well-established care provider, recognised for delivering outstanding care across children's and adult services. As the Children's Deputy Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the home alongside the Registered Manager, ensuring the highest standards of care and compliance, while leading and developing the team to establish a successful, high-performing service.

Responsibilities as a Deputy Manager:
* Lead and inspire a dedicated team to deliver outstanding, person-centred care and support for children and young people with Learning Disabilities and Autism.
* Ensure full compliance with Ofsted regulations, safeguarding requirements, and quality standards while driving continuous service improvement.
* Build positive relationships with children, families, professionals, and external agencies to achieve the best possible outcomes and promote independence.
Requirements as a Deputy Manager:
* NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care or Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent)
* Previous experience as a Deputy Manager within a children's residential home
* Strong working knowledge of Ofsted regulations, inspections, and compliance requirements
