A specialist nursing service in the Perth area is currently looking to recruit an experienced RGN, RMN or RNLD Registered Nurse to join the team as Deputy Nurse Manager.
Details of this Deputy Nurse Manager position and what the service is offering:
A permanent, full-time contract working 40 hours per week on day shifts
6 hours per week supernumerary to support the Home Manager with the day-to-day running of the service
Competitive pay rate of £22.97 per hour (£47,777.60 per annum)

As Deputy Nurse Manager your duties and responsibilities will include:
Supporting the Home Manager with the day-to-day running of the service
Providing clinical leadership and supporting the nursing and care teams
Ensuring the highest standards of person-centred care are delivered
Taking responsibility for the service in the absence of the Home Manager
Undertaking clinical assessments, care planning and risk assessments
Administering and overseeing medication management
Supervising, mentoring and developing Nurses and Care Assistants
Supporting audits, inspections and ensuring compliance with Care Inspectorate standards
Building positive relationships with residents, families and external healthcare professionals
Promoting independence, dignity, choice and respect for all residents
Applicants for this Deputy Nurse Manager position should meet the following criteria:
NMC registered Adult General Nurse (RGN), Mental Health Nurse (RMN) or Learning Disabilities Nurse (RNLD)
Previous experience in a Deputy Manager, Clinical Lead or Senior Nurse role within a care setting
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a clinical team
Good knowledge of Care Inspectorate standards and nursing home regulations
Up-to-date clinical knowledge and excellent assessment skills
Excellent communication, organisational and leadership abilities
A compassionate, person-centred approach to care
Full eligibility to work in the UK (no sponsorship or visa switch available).
Willingness to undertake a PVG check.
