Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the conceptualization and detailed design of mechanical components and assemblies using CAD software .
• Develop and refine prototypes , conducting thorough testing and analysis to validate designs.
• Prepare technical documentation, including drawings, specifications, and test reports.
• Collaborate with manufacturing engineers to ensure designs are optimized for production processes.
• Participate in design reviews, providing input and supporting the implementation of feedback.
• Troubleshoot design issues and propose practical solutions to enhance product performance and reliability.

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Product Design, or a closely related field.
• Some experience (1-3 years) in mechanical design and product development.
• Proficiency in 3D CAD software (e.g., Fusion 360, Onshape) is essential.
• Basic understanding of materials, manufacturing processes, and testing methodologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities, suitable for a Norwich -based role.
