DevOps Engineer (AWS & Kubernetes)

About the Role

Our client is seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to join their innovative technology team based in Milton Keynes . Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines for automated application deployment and testing using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
• Manage and automate cloud infrastructure on AWS using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles with tools like Terraform or Ansible.
• Deploy, manage, and scale containerized applications using Kubernetes and Docker.
• Monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions to improve reliability and efficiency.
• Collaborate closely with development and QA teams to ensure smooth integration and deployment of new features.
• Implement and enforce security best practices across the entire infrastructure stack.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar role focused on automation and cloud infrastructure.
• Strong proficiency with AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, IAM, EKS).
• Hands-on experience with container orchestration platforms, particularly Kubernetes .
• Solid understanding of scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python) and configuration management tools.
• Experience with monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack) and logging solutions.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
