DevOps Engineer - Blockchain Infrastructure

About the Role

Our client is seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to manage and optimize the infrastructure supporting their extensive crypto and blockchain operations in Sheffield . This role is critical for ensuring the seamless, reliable, and secure deployment and operation of our blockchain nodes, services, and applications. You will be instrumental in automating our infrastructure, enhancing scalability, and maintaining high availability for our distributed systems. Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for blockchain applications and services.
• Automate the deployment, configuration, and management of blockchain nodes and infrastructure.
• Monitor system performance, uptime, and resource utilization, implementing proactive solutions.
• Develop and manage containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Implement and enforce security best practices across the infrastructure and deployment processes.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to troubleshoot issues and optimize system performance.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in DevOps or SRE roles, with experience in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Go.
• Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and orchestration tools.
• Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible).
• Understanding of blockchain technology , node operations, and network infrastructure.
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack).
