About the Role
Our client is seeking a proactive DevOps Engineer with a strong interest in Blockchain technology to join their operations team in Leeds . You will be responsible for building, automating, and maintaining the infrastructure that supports our blockchain platforms and services. This role is crucial for ensuring the reliability, scalability, and security of our distributed systems. You'll work closely with development and security teams to implement best practices in CI/CD, monitoring, and incident response, playing a key role in the operational excellence of our crypto initiatives. This is a fantastic opportunity to specialize in a rapidly growing and exciting technological domain.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines for blockchain applications and smart contracts.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and deployment using tools like Terraform or Ansible.
- Monitor blockchain network health, application performance, and system security, responding to alerts and incidents.
- Implement and manage containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) for scalable deployments.
- Ensure the security and resilience of our blockchain infrastructure through robust practices and regular audits.
- Collaborate with development teams to optimize application performance and troubleshoot deployment issues.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar role, with a focus on automation and infrastructure management.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Go.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and infrastructure-as-code tools.
- Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Understanding of blockchain technology, networks, and smart contracts is highly desirable.
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
