About the Role
Our client is seeking a dedicated DevOps Engineer to join their expanding technology team in Belfast . In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing robust CI/CD pipelines, automating infrastructure provisioning, and ensuring the reliability and scalability of their production environments. You will work closely with development and operations teams to streamline deployment processes, enhance system monitoring, and foster a culture of continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain scalable and efficient CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and deployment processes using tools such as Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.
- Implement and manage containerization technologies, including Docker and Kubernetes.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot production issues, and implement solutions to ensure high availability and reliability.
- Collaborate with software development teams to optimize application deployment and operational efficiency.
- Develop and maintain scripts for operational tasks, monitoring, and alerting.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in a DevOps or SRE role.
- Proficiency with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools and practices.
- Strong scripting skills in languages like Bash, Python, or PowerShell.
- Experience with container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.
- Solid understanding of networking concepts, security principles, and system administration.
