DevOps Engineer - CI/CD Specialist

About the Role

Our client is seeking a dedicated DevOps Engineer with a specialization in CI/CD to join their growing technology team in Belfast . This role is critical in streamlining and automating our software development and deployment processes. You will be responsible for building and maintaining robust, scalable, and efficient CI/CD pipelines, fostering collaboration between development and operations teams, and ensuring the timely and reliable delivery of high-quality software. Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines for various applications and services.
• Develop and manage infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or Puppet.
• Implement and manage containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.
• Monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions to improve reliability and scalability.
• Collaborate closely with development teams to troubleshoot deployment issues and optimize build and test processes.
• Ensure security best practices are integrated throughout the deployment lifecycle.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of experience in a DevOps or SRE role, with a strong focus on CI/CD.
• Proficiency with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI, or Azure DevOps.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS , Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies.
• Strong scripting skills in languages like Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Excellent understanding of version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaboration workflows.
