About the Role
Our client is looking for a motivated DevOps Engineer with expertise in Cloud Automation to join their growing team in Leeds, West Yorkshire . This role is crucial for streamlining development and operations processes, ensuring the seamless deployment and management of applications in cloud environments. You will work closely with software development and IT operations teams to build and maintain robust, scalable, and efficient infrastructure. Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines for automated application builds, testing, and deployment.
- Utilize infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform or Ansible to automate cloud resource provisioning and management.
- Configure and maintain cloud infrastructure on platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP , ensuring reliability and scalability.
- Implement and manage containerization technologies including Docker and Kubernetes .
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to ensure high availability and optimal performance.
- Collaborate with development teams to optimize application deployment and operational processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years of experience in a DevOps or System Administration role.
- Proficiency with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS , Azure, GCP) and related services.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI) and scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python ).
- Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes .
- Strong understanding of networking, security principles, and system monitoring.
