About the Role
Our client is seeking a skilled and proactive DevOps Engineer to join their fully remote team. This role is crucial for streamlining our development and deployment processes, ensuring the reliability, scalability, and performance of our cloud infrastructure. You will work closely with software development teams to automate and optimize the build, test, and deployment pipelines, as well as manage and monitor our production environments. Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate software builds, testing, and deployments.
- Manage and scale cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles.
- Implement and manage monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to ensure system health and performance.
- Automate operational tasks and processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual intervention.
- Collaborate with development teams to troubleshoot production issues and implement solutions.
- Ensure security best practices are implemented and maintained across all infrastructure and deployment processes.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar SRE role.
- Strong proficiency with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and related services.
- Hands-on experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Expertise in scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python, PowerShell) for automation.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI) and Infrastructure as Code tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a remote environment.
