About the Role
Our client is seeking a proactive and experienced DevOps Engineer to join their remote-first engineering team. This position is critical for bridging the gap between software development and IT operations, automating and streamlining our development and deployment processes. You will play a key role in building and maintaining a scalable, reliable, and efficient infrastructure that supports our cutting-edge applications. This role is ideal for someone passionate about automation, cloud technologies, and fostering collaboration between development and operations teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines for automated building, testing, and deployment.
- Manage and maintain cloud infrastructure (AWS , Azure , or GCP ) using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.
- Implement and maintain monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to ensure system health and performance.
- Automate operational tasks and infrastructure management using scripting languages (e.g., Python , Bash).
- Collaborate with development teams to troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and deployment issues.
- Ensure the security, reliability, and scalability of production systems.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar role focused on automation and infrastructure.
- Strong understanding of cloud platforms (AWS , Azure , or GCP ) and their services.
- Proficiency with containerization technologies (Docker ) and orchestration (Kubernetes ).
- Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions.
- Solid scripting skills in languages such as Python , Bash, or PowerShell.
- Familiarity with monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK stack.
