About the Role
Our client is looking for a talented and motivated DevOps Engineer to join their expanding technology department. This fully remote position is ideal for individuals passionate about automating and streamlining software development and deployment processes. You will be responsible for building and maintaining robust CI/CD pipelines, managing cloud infrastructure, and ensuring the reliability and scalability of our applications. Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain efficient CI/CD pipelines for automated application builds, testing, and deployment.
- Manage and provision cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP) using infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform.
- Implement and manage containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Develop and maintain monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to ensure application availability and performance.
- Automate operational tasks, system administration, and deployment processes.
- Collaborate with development and QA teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues across the software development lifecycle.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar role focused on automation and infrastructure management.
- Strong proficiency with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and their associated services.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps) and scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python).
- Expertise in containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Chef, Puppet).
- Excellent understanding of networking, security, and system administration principles.
