About the Role
Our client is actively seeking a dedicated DevOps Engineer to join their fully remote team, based conceptually in Leeds . In this crucial role, you will be the bridge between software development and IT operations, focusing on automating and streamlining our development and deployment processes. Your expertise will be vital in ensuring the reliability, scalability, and efficiency of our client's infrastructure and software delivery pipelines. Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines for automated software builds, testing, and deployments.
- Develop and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or Ansible.
- Monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions to ensure high availability and scalability.
- Manage and orchestrate containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and deployment issues.
- Implement robust security measures and ensure compliance across all environments.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 3+ years of experience in a DevOps or SRE role.
- Proficiency with scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or PowerShell.
- Hands-on experience with cloud providers like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Strong knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI).
- Experience with configuration management tools (Ansible, Chef, Puppet) and monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
