About the Role
Our client is seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to join their growing infrastructure team in Milton Keynes . This role is central to ensuring the smooth operation, scalability, and reliability of our client's cloud-based applications and services. You will play a key part in automating and streamlining development and deployment processes, working closely with development and operations teams to implement best practices. Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines for automated software deployment and infrastructure provisioning.
- Administer and optimize cloud infrastructure on platforms like AWS or Google Cloud.
- Develop and maintain infrastructure as code using tools such as Terraform or Ansible.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to ensure high availability.
- Implement and manage container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes .
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure application reliability and scalability.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of cloud platforms, specifically AWS , GCP, or Azure.
- Hands-on experience with infrastructure as code tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or Bash.
- Experience with containerization technologies (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
- Understanding of networking concepts and security best practices.
