The Role

As a Senior / Diagnostic Vehicle Technician, you'll be responsible for diagnosing complex faults and completing servicing, maintenance and repairs to manufacturer standards. Key responsibilities include:

• Carrying out servicing, maintenance and technical repairs
• Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults using computerised diagnostic equipment
• Inspecting engines and mechanical/electrical components
• Identifying, repairing and replacing defective components
• Carrying out advanced fault-finding and diagnostics
• Completing manufacturer warranty repairs and documentation
• Carrying out road tests to confirm faults have been rectified
• Completing job cards and all relevant paperwork accurately
• Maintaining high standards of workmanship, safety and customer care

About You

We're looking for an experienced Senior Technician / Diagnostic Technician with strong technical and diagnostic ability. You'll ideally have:

• NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair or equivalent
• Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician, ideally at senior/diagnostic level
• Strong mechanical and electrical diagnostic skills
• Experience using computerised diagnostic equipment
• Previous manufacturer experience is desirable but not essential
• Full and valid UK Driving Licence
• Excellent attention to detail
• Self-motivated, reliable and team-focused approach
• Commitment to maintaining high standards of workmanship Manufacturer accreditation training will be provided where required.
