Digital Architect (Cloud)

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly skilled Digital Architect (Cloud) to drive their cloud adoption and infrastructure strategy. This is a fully remote position, offering the flexibility to work from anywhere within the UK. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud solutions across multiple platforms. Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable, resilient, and secure cloud architectures on platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP .
• Develop and maintain cloud infrastructure roadmaps, strategies, and governance frameworks.
• Collaborate with engineering, operations, and security teams to deploy and manage cloud services effectively.
• Optimize cloud environments for performance, cost-efficiency, and security best practices.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance on cloud technologies, patterns, and best practices.
• Evaluate and recommend new cloud services and technologies to meet business needs.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Cloud Architect or in a similar senior cloud engineering role.
• In-depth knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP ) and their services.
• Strong understanding of microservices architecture, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills, essential for remote collaboration.
• Relevant cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect Expert).
