You will be responsible for developing and implementing a robust digital strategy, creating compelling online content, managing social media platforms, and optimising the organisation's website for maximum impact. Your work will be instrumental in increasing awareness, driving engagement, and supporting fundraising efforts.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive digital communications strategy across various online channels.
- Create engaging and shareable content, including written posts, graphics, videos, and infographics.
- Manage and grow the organisation's social media profiles, monitoring engagement and responding to comments.
- Optimise website content for search engines (SEO) to improve visibility and traffic.
- Develop and manage email marketing campaigns to engage supporters and donors.
- Analyse website and social media metrics to track performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Stay abreast of the latest digital marketing trends and best practices.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Digital Communications Specialist or similar role, with a strong portfolio.
- Excellent writing, editing, and visual content creation skills.
- Proficiency with social media management tools, website analytics, and SEO best practices.
- Experience with email marketing platforms and content management systems (CMS).
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects effectively in a remote environment.
- A genuine passion for the charity sector and a desire to use digital skills for social good.
