Digital Content Editor
- london, england, United Kingdom
- Contract·On-site
Job Description
We're working with a highly respected content and communications agency that partners with leading membership organisations, professional bodies and associations, delivering award-winning content, events, research and thought leadership programmes for senior professional audiences. They are looking for an ambitious Digital Content Editor to join a growing editorial team and play a key role on one of the agency's flagship membership accounts.
This is an excellent opportunity for a bright, commercially minded editor or journalist who enjoys uncovering stories, engaging with industry leaders, and developing content that informs and influences professional audiences. The role offers exposure to senior business figures, international thought leadership programmes and clear progression opportunities within a growing business.
Working as part of a collaborative editorial team, you'll create and develop content across a range of channels, including:
- Features, news and thought leadership articles
- Email newsletters and website content
- Webinars, podcasts and virtual events
- Reports, white papers and industry research
- LinkedIn and other professional social platforms
- Short-form video and multimedia assets
You'll research emerging trends, interview senior executives and subject matter experts, commission freelance contributors and help deliver engaging content programmes for a global professional audience. As the account continues to grow, there will also be opportunities to take a more visible role in webinars, industry discussions and event moderation.
We're keen to hear from ambitious and intellectually curious content professionals who enjoy translating complex topics into engaging, accessible content.
You may currently be working as a Editor, Content Manager or B2B Journalist within a publishing, media, content, membership or professional services environment.
You'll likely have:
- Strong writing, editing and interviewing skills
- Experience creating digital-first content
- Excellent editorial judgement and attention to detail
- Confidence engaging with senior stakeholders
- Experience commissioning freelancers or managing external contributors
- An interest in webinars, podcasts, video or other multimedia formats
- Strong organisational and project management skills
- A proactive approach and desire to develop your career
Experience within B2B publishing, membership organisations, trade media or specialist media would be advantageous, although strong editorial ability and a willingness to learn are more important than sector-specific knowledge.
If you're looking for a role where you can develop your editorial career, work with senior industry leaders and contribute to high-profile content programmes, we'd love to hear from you.
