Digital E-commerce Analyst

About the Role

Our client is seeking a data-driven and analytical Digital E-commerce Analyst to join their remote team, supporting operations from Southampton . This role is critical for optimizing online performance by interpreting complex data sets related to website traffic, user behaviour, sales trends, and campaign effectiveness. You will provide actionable insights and strategic recommendations to enhance the customer journey, increase conversion rates, and drive revenue growth. Key Responsibilities

• Analyze website data (traffic, user behaviour, conversions) using tools like Google Analytics to identify trends and opportunities.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track key performance indicators (KPIs) for e-commerce and digital marketing efforts.
• Conduct A/B testing and conversion rate optimization (CRO) analyses to improve user experience and sales funnels.
• Provide insights into customer segmentation, purchasing patterns, and lifetime value to inform marketing and product strategies.
• Monitor competitor performance and market trends, reporting on key findings.
• Collaborate with marketing, product, and sales teams to translate data insights into actionable business recommendations.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Digital Analyst, E-commerce Analyst, or similar role.
• Strong proficiency in web analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics).
• Excellent data analysis and interpretation skills, with the ability to visualize data effectively.
• Experience with A/B testing tools and CRO methodologies.
• Proficient in SQL for data extraction and manipulation is highly desirable.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to present complex data to non-technical stakeholders.
