About the Role
Our client is seeking a meticulous and data-driven Digital E-commerce Analyst to join their growing team in Liverpool . This role is crucial for understanding customer behavior, website performance, and marketing campaign effectiveness. You will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data to provide actionable insights that inform strategic decisions and drive e-commerce growth. The ideal candidate possesses strong analytical skills, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for using data to optimize online performance in the Merseyside region.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets related to website traffic, user behavior, sales, and marketing campaigns.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track key performance indicators (KPIs) for e-commerce and digital marketing efforts.
- Identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for conversion rate optimization (CRO) and improved customer experience.
- Conduct A/B testing and provide recommendations for website improvements and marketing strategies.
- Collaborate with marketing, product, and development teams to translate data insights into actionable recommendations.
- Stay updated on the latest analytics tools and techniques relevant to e-commerce and digital marketing.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Data Analyst , Web Analyst, or Digital Marketing Analyst, preferably within e-commerce.
- Proficiency in web analytics platforms such as Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, or similar.
- Strong understanding of SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a high degree of accuracy.
- Ability to communicate complex data insights clearly to non-technical stakeholders in Liverpool .
