About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly skilled and creative Digital Illustrator to join their vibrant studio in Southampton . This role is integral to developing captivating visuals for a wide array of projects, including book covers, editorial content, marketing campaigns, and educational materials. You will collaborate closely with art directors, editors, and marketing teams to bring concepts to life through unique and compelling artwork. The ideal candidate possesses a strong artistic portfolio, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative, in-person studio environment, contributing to visually rich and impactful creative outputs.

Key Responsibilities

• Create original digital illustrations for various media, including print and digital platforms.
• Interpret creative briefs and develop visual concepts that meet project requirements and artistic vision.
• Collaborate with art directors and stakeholders to refine illustration concepts and final artwork.
• Maintain a high level of quality and consistency in all illustration work.
• Ensure timely delivery of illustrations, adhering to project deadlines and schedules.
• Explore and experiment with different styles and techniques to enhance visual storytelling.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Digital Illustrator with a strong portfolio showcasing diverse styles.
• Proficiency in digital illustration software such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or Procreate.
• Excellent understanding of composition, color theory, anatomy, and perspective.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a studio setting and respond effectively to feedback.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
