About the Role

Our client is seeking an innovative and tech-savvy Digital Inclusion Officer to champion digital literacy and access for individuals in the community, all within a fully remote capacity. You will play a crucial role in empowering individuals to navigate the digital world, bridging the digital divide, and ensuring equitable access to online resources and services. This position is vital for expanding the reach of our Community & Social Care initiatives, enabling people to connect, learn, and thrive in an increasingly digital society. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver engaging online training programs focused on digital skills and online safety.
• Provide one-on-one remote support and troubleshooting for individuals facing digital challenges.
• Research and recommend accessible digital tools, software, and hardware solutions.
• Create user-friendly guides and resources to simplify digital concepts.
• Collaborate with community partners and organizations to promote digital inclusion initiatives.
• Track and report on program outcomes, user engagement, and impact on digital literacy.

Requirements

• Experience in digital training, IT support, or a related field, with a strong understanding of digital accessibility.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
• Proficiency in various online collaboration tools and learning management systems.
• A passion for digital inclusion and empowering individuals through technology.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines remotely.
• Familiarity with the challenges faced by individuals in accessing and utilizing digital resources within the Community & Social Care context.
