About the Role

Our client is looking for a creative and skilled Digital Learning Designer to enhance their online educational offerings from their Derby hub. This role requires a blend of pedagogical understanding and technical expertise to create engaging and effective digital learning experiences. You will be instrumental in developing interactive content, online modules, and multimedia resources that support various learning objectives. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for design, a passion for innovative learning solutions, and the ability to collaborate effectively with subject matter experts to produce high-quality digital educational materials. This role offers a hybrid working model, combining remote flexibility with office-based collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop engaging and interactive digital learning content, including e-learning modules, videos, and assessments.
• Apply instructional design principles and adult learning theories to create effective learning experiences.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts to gather content and ensure its accuracy and relevance.
• Utilize e-learning authoring tools and multimedia software to produce high-quality learning resources.
• Ensure digital learning materials are accessible, user-friendly, and aligned with learning objectives.
• Manage multiple projects concurrently, adhering to deadlines and quality standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Education, Multimedia, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Digital Learning Designer or Instructional Designer.
• Proficiency with e-learning authoring tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate) and Learning Management Systems (LMS).
• Strong understanding of pedagogical principles for online and blended learning.
• Excellent communication, project management, and creative problem-solving skills.
