About the Role

Our client is looking for an enthusiastic and patient Digital Literacy Trainer to join their team in Bristol . This hybrid role focuses on empowering individuals with essential digital skills needed in today's world. You will deliver training sessions, both in-person and online, covering a range of topics from basic computer operation to online safety and digital communication. The ideal candidate is adept at explaining technical concepts in an accessible manner and is passionate about helping diverse learners build confidence and competence with technology.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging training sessions on various aspects of digital literacy , including computer basics, internet navigation, and email usage.
• Develop and update training materials to reflect current technologies and best practices.
• Provide one-on-one support to individuals needing assistance with specific digital tasks.
• Assess learners' needs and adapt training content and delivery methods accordingly.
• Promote online safety and responsible digital citizenship among participants.
• Collaborate with the team to schedule and coordinate training sessions across different formats.

Requirements

• Experience in training or teaching , with a focus on digital skills.
• Strong knowledge of common software applications and operating systems (e.g., Windows, macOS, Microsoft Office Suite).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts simply.
• Patience and a supportive approach to adult learners with varying technical abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in both face-to-face and online training environments.
