About the Role
Our client is seeking a talented and driven Digital Marketing Specialist to join their dynamic marketing team, operating in a fully remote capacity with occasional travel requirements to Southampton . This role is crucial for developing and executing innovative digital marketing strategies that enhance brand awareness, drive consumer engagement, and support sales growth for their diverse range of FMCG products. You will be responsible for managing all aspects of our digital presence, from social media and content creation to SEO, SEM, and email marketing, ensuring our brands connect effectively with today's online consumer in the fast-paced FMCG market .
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive digital marketing strategies across various channels including social media, SEO, SEM, email marketing, and content marketing.
- Manage and create engaging content for social media platforms, driving community growth and interaction.
- Plan, execute, and optimize paid advertising campaigns (PPC) across platforms like Google Ads and social media.
- Monitor website performance, user behaviour, and SEO rankings, implementing strategies for improvement.
- Analyze campaign performance data, generate reports, and provide actionable insights to optimize future digital marketing efforts.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest digital marketing trends, tools, and best practices relevant to the FMCG industry.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Digital Marketing Specialist or similar role, preferably within the FMCG sector .
- Strong understanding of SEO, SEM, social media marketing, content marketing, and email marketing principles.
- Proficiency with digital marketing tools such as Google Analytics, Google Ads, social media management platforms, and email marketing software.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a knack for creating compelling online content.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects effectively in a remote setting.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
