About the Role
Our client is seeking a visionary Digital Marketing Strategist to lead the development and execution of innovative online marketing campaigns for their expanding e-commerce business, with a focus on the Scottish market. You will be responsible for crafting comprehensive digital strategies that encompass SEO, SEM, social media, content marketing, and email automation to drive brand awareness, customer acquisition, and revenue growth. This role requires a deep understanding of the digital landscape, analytical prowess, and the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights. The successful candidate will play a key role in defining our client's online presence and ensuring they remain at the forefront of digital innovation.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and oversee the implementation of integrated digital marketing strategies across all online channels.
- Lead SEO and SEM efforts to improve organic search rankings and drive targeted traffic.
- Define and manage social media strategy, including content planning, audience engagement, and paid social campaigns.
- Design and manage email marketing and automation workflows to nurture leads and retain customers.

Requirements
- 5+ years of progressive experience in digital marketing strategy , with a strong focus on e-commerce.
- Demonstrated success in developing and executing multi-channel digital campaigns that achieved significant growth.
- Expert knowledge of SEO, SEM, social media marketing, content marketing, and email automation.
- Proficiency with analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics), SEO tools, and marketing automation software.
- Excellent strategic thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, able to articulate strategies to stakeholders in Glasgow .
