As part of Capgemini Invent, we are seeking a seasoned Director to join our Energy Transition & Utilities practice, responding to the increasing demand for advisory, consulting, and transformation services in this sector. This role is pivotal in helping clients navigate the complexities of AI integration and digital transformation.

Your Role

In this position, you will be responsible for:

• Leading and contributing to significant business opportunities and proposals in AI and digital transformation.
• Shaping consulting engagements through both existing and new client relationships.
• Developing market-leading propositions and thought leadership in the Energy Transition & Utilities sector.
• Building strategic relationships with technology partners and ecosystem providers.
• Supporting account growth and expansion across Energy & Utilities clients.
• Overseeing major AI-enabled transformation programs and acting as a trusted advisor to executive stakeholders.
• Defining AI strategies, operating models, and business cases for clients.
• Establishing AI Centres of Excellence and governance models for scaled adoption.
• Assisting clients in the design and implementation of digital and AI-enabled transformations.
• Leading capability development across AI Consulting and Business Transformation propositions.
• Contributing to practice operations and recruitment efforts.
• Coaching and mentoring future leaders within the practice.
• Developing market-facing insights and representing Capgemini at industry events.

Your Profile

The ideal candidate will possess:

• Significant experience in Consulting and/or Energy & Utilities, with expertise in Energy Networks, Water, Energy Retail, or Asset & Capital Delivery.
• Exceptional consulting skills from a major consulting firm or senior industry leadership roles.
• A proven track record in delivering large-scale business and AI-enabled transformation programs.
• Experience in building trusted relationships with senior stakeholders.
• A strong ability to develop propositions and market offerings.
• A history of leading high-performing consulting teams.
• A deep understanding of AI adoption in regulated industries.
• An entrepreneurial mindset focused on growth and innovation.
• A commitment to developing future consulting leaders.
